Learn to Ground Yourself

Grounding is probably a term you have heard, but might not be all that familiar with. Grounding is basically connecting the electrical charge that powers your body to the electrical charge of the Earth. If you want to get a bit technical, you can rely on earthing science and grounding physics to explain how electrical charges from the earth can have positive effects on your body.

Grounding had been an very under researched topic for most of our existence on this planet up until the last decade or so. As more and more studies are conducted, the science continue to back up the benefits of grounding more and more! In an study published on PubMed Central theorizes that grounding actually affects the living matrix or the central connector between all living cells. Given the specific type of research, many of the studies that can be found searching the web dive into different aspects of grounding and earthing, but most determine that grounding can have the following benefits for human beings:

  • decreased levels of pain and inflammation

  • reduced stress levels

  • improved circulation

  • decreased fatigue levels

  • relives anxiety and depression by increasing mood and clarity

  • reduces sleep disturbances and more!

During this event you will be guided through a grounding exercise that you will then be able to do again and again at your leisure! This event will include:

  • a short hike (15 minutes) to our event spot (only when held at Papago Park)

  • grounding exercises to ground the mind, body, and spirit

  • a guided grounding visualization meditation

  • sound healing

  • bring water to stay hydrated

  • bring a small folding chair, blanket, yoga mat, or pillow to use for the guided meditation (nothing to sit on will be provided)

  • event cost is $25/person on the day of the event (cash or card) or $20/person prepaid on our website
