It is an opportune time for starting a new project, starting fresh in a specific area of your life (work, school, or love). The new moon brings an abundance of new energy that will also allow you to face old habits, mind patterns, or situations that have been halting growth your life, allowing you to then release anything that no longer serves your greater good.

Although the degree of the new moon in the sky makes this new moon in Gemini, when viewing the
new moon in the sky you will see the moon inside the Taurus constellation. In fact, the new moon will happened very close to Aldebaran, or the Eye of the Bull. Aldebaran with a new moon is very fortunate - it gives exceptional energy, courage, and perseverance, but also a high state of anxiety and stress. When you are tested by the Universe in the coming weeks, remember that through the struggles we are faced with, there is a lesson to be learned. We are being tested in order to prepare us for what is ahead. The struggles in our lives will continue to repeat themselves until we have learned the lesson we are meant to from that specific struggle or obstacle. Success, honor, and recognition are likely, especially in business, but there is also the risk of loss through enemies or the law. It would be wise to keep your emotions in check as the new moon approaches to ensure no unneeded spending occurs that puts you in tough spot financially.
June's New Moon - Stars, Planets, & Archangel Michael
The fixed star Aldebaran is a massive star and one of the fifteen Behenian fixed stars. As one of the four Royal or Archangel stars it represents Archangel Michael, the celestial General. The most well-known of the Archangels, Michael releases the effects of fear from the planet and its inhabitants. Call on Archangel Michael during meditation, let him assist in giving you the courage and backbone needed to follow your truth and fulfill your Divine mission. When you feel afraid or confused about your personal safety, your Heavenly purpose, or making a necessary life change, Michael is there to bring you clarity and guidance.
Also, the alignment of Sun and Moon at a new moon is the most powerful combination in astrology. So the influence of Aldebaran will be felt during this moon phase. The new moon June 2019 is also aligned with some minor stars in Orion the Hunter. The list below shows the Pi Orion stars are in fact the closest fixed stars to the new moon by longitude. These stars, including the named star Tabit, make up the lion skin or bullhide of Orion’s Shield.
Orion Constellation is said to give a strong and dignified nature, self-confidence, inconstancy, arrogance, violence, impiety, prosperity in trade and particularly by voyages or abroad, but danger of treachery and poison. The two small stars in Perseus Constellation are also in his Shield. Perhaps these shields give some protection against enemies or a note of caution about protecting what you already have. Caution and wariness are also qualities of the Hare. The star list above shows Epsilon Leporis is only 0°15′ from the new moon. Lepus Constellation gives a quick wit, timidity, circumspection, fecundity, and defiance.
Venus trine Pluto increases your need for love and affection while making you feel more deeply about loved ones. It adds intensity and passion for relationships and those things which bring you joy and satisfaction. Increased sex drive and karmic attraction is a good omen if dating. A new relationship would be very intense indeed and may involve an affair or some other complication. Obsessions and fascinations are possible, not only in relationships. You may be drawn to a particular style of fashion, cosmetics, jewelry or tattoo. You may feel compelled to research a wealth creation scheme or choose a good investment. All you need to do to begin is set the intention to not only become aware of what you should change, but to also release what is no longer serving you (holding you back). It is important to ground if you are having trouble calming your mind. Grounding is an important exercise in daily life, but it becomes even more important when you are looking for answers regarding things you are hoping to change in your life. Grounding will allow you to cleanse your energy and bring yourself into the present moment. When this happens, the ego doesn't play a role in your decision making and you can move forward, feeling confident you are making the right decisions for yourself.
